Tahnee Lamon
Owner/Piano/Vocal
Tahnee has been teaching in the Chicagoland area for over 13 years and loves sharing her passion for music with her students! Tahnee began her music career at the age of 5 studying both piano and voice eventually earning her Bachelor’s Degree from Bradley University in Music and Theatre. She has performed with local bands over the years and is currently singing and playing on her church worship team. In 2019, after a decade of teaching, she was finally able to open Moving Melodies Academy with the philosophy that learning music should be fun!
Charlie Peterson
Piano
Charlie has just graduated with a Music Industry degree from Lewis University and has been writing music for 8 years. He now works at a music studio, teaches piano lessons, and composes music for commercial and TV. Charlie also has played piano for 10 years and guitar for 4. He writes music personally as well, and has a deep passion for music altogether! He has worked with kids throughout the years through musical and non-musical activities. He recently joined Moving Melodies Academy and is excited to work with some new kids!
Leo Paterniti
Vocal/guitar
Leo Paterniti, is a twenty-four-year-old singer and guitarist, he has thirteen years of experience with the guitar. He is a songwriter, producer, and performer, having dedicated three years to the music industry. Leo holds a degree in Music and English from Colorado College and has toured nationally with bands. Additionally, he has independently released his own music. Leo's musical preferences span across jazz, folk, rock, country, and rap.
